BINGO! ... Short film with the old birds

Add: 2 88's + 1 sleeze + a bunch of extras + 1 number = the formula for my recent short film.
Written by Richard Johnson and directed by Martin De Lange (www.martindelange.com), shot by his Amsterdam Crew. "Two Fat Ladies" tells the tale of the British Bingo hall with all of its rivalries, politics and realities. A witty but dark script filmed over three days during a gloomy December.
To get inside the world of Bingo! I took to my local bingo hall to spy on the punters and their styles-de-jour. The results were pretty special!
The character's identities were born....

"Bertha" as played by Hazel Douglas and Beryl Nesbit as "Maud."

Other characters that lived within the Bingo world were the Bingo Cashier played by Anna Crilly

The slimy Bingo caller ....

And our Granny Gangs..

I look forward to seeing the film ... due to be entered into the Film Festival circuit this spring.
